They do not replace traditional paper cards but serve as a practical organisational tool: guests receive all the necessary information about the celebration, while you retain full control.

With online invitations, you can include far more details than on a standard card: precise addresses and maps to the venue, event schedules, frequently asked questions, photo albums, gift lists, and guest surveys. Any changes are reflected instantly, so guests always see the most up-to-date information on any device.

Online invitations engage guests in advance and foster a sense of involvement through feedback options. This method saves money on printing and postage, reduces the risk of information errors, makes it easier for guests who cannot attend, and eliminates the need to hand invitations out in person, particularly to acquaintances living in other cities.

## Setting Up Your Invitation — Formats, Templates, and the Constructor

Creating an invitation begins with entering the basic information: the names of the bride and groom and the wedding date (if not already set in the wedding profile). Next, choose the format: **individualised invitations** or a **wedding website**.

Individual invitations are tailored for each guest, allowing personalised greetings and automatic tracking of attendance status, as well as preferences for drinks, transfers, and accommodation.

The wedding website is a single link for all guests, ideal for mass distribution. Responses can be manually linked to the guest list if needed.

**Choosing a Template.** The app offers sixteen ready-made templates with different backgrounds, fonts, and colour palettes. If the wedding style is set in the profile, the system will suggest an appropriate template. All templates allow font adjustments, text size, section order and visibility, as well as countdown timer styles. With a custom template, you can additionally change background images. For some templates, it is also possible to download a PDF version for printing.

The app supports multiple invitation types for different guest groups. For example, some guests receive individual invitations, others access the wedding website, and older relatives or those preferring paper can be sent a printed card. Invitations can also be tailored for different events: colleagues are invited only to the registry office ceremony, while close friends are invited to the second day celebrations or a bachelor/bachelorette party.

## The Constructor

The app’s constructor includes all the key sections to customise an invitation: format, template, wedding date (if different from the ceremony date), and additional blocks.

1. **Invitation Format** — choose between an individual invitation or a wedding website.  
2. **Template** — select a ready-made design or create a custom template.  
3. **Event Date** — by default, the wedding date is used, but a different date can be chosen if the official registration and celebration occur on separate days.  
4. **About Us** — the couple shares a brief story and photos. Examples: “Two different stories became one” or “We’ve known each other since university, together for seven years, and love mountain hikes and morning coffee.”  
5. **Welcome Message** — sets the tone for guests: “Dear friends, we invite you to share our special day” or “We want to celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere — come dressed comfortably.”  
6. **Programme** — outlines events in detail. For example, the first day may include the registry office ceremony and an evening party, the second day a family picnic with children’s activities, workshops, and games.  
7. **Venue** — address, description, and links to websites or social media so guests can plan their route in advance.  
8. **FAQ Section** — provides answers to common questions, helping guests plan their attendance more easily.

   - What is the dress code?  
   - Can children attend?  
   - Will transport to the venue be provided?  
   - What gifts are suitable for the couple?  

9. **Photo Album** — engagement photos, themed images, or a mood board to set the tone.  
10. **Guest Survey** — begins with a mandatory attendance question. If a guest cannot attend, they can leave a comment. Additional questions for attendees help you organise the event efficiently:

    **Example questions:**  
    - How many guests will accompany you?  
    - What drinks do you prefer at the reception?  
    - Will you require transport to the venue?  
    - Will you need help with hotel accommodation?  
    - Do you have any dietary restrictions or allergies?  
    - Would you like to participate in interactive games or workshops?

    - Will you be using professional photography or videography services?  

    Guests can also respond “maybe” to the attendance question, which they can update later.  

11. **Closing Message** — text displayed at the end of the invitation (e.g., “See you soon”).  
12. **Guest Communication** — links to social media groups and built-in chats (Telegram, WhatsApp, VK). This allows you to quickly inform guests of changes, weather updates, or logistics and host quizzes and interactive activities.  
13. **Gift List** — guests can select and reserve gifts from the wish list to avoid duplication.  
14. **Integrations** — enable notifications for guest responses in Telegram.  
15. **Additional Settings** — font selection, text size and colour, section order and visibility, countdown timer style.  
16. **Custom Template** — add your own background images.  
17. **Website Link** — for the wedding website format. You can copy or disable the link as needed.

## Inviting Guests

Once the invitation is set up, it can be sent to guests. For the website, simply copy the link and distribute it using any convenient method.

Individual invitations are sent separately to each guest. Invitations for families or multiple guests can be grouped. Guest greetings can be customised. For those who prefer paper only, invitations can be omitted or deleted from the list. Mark invitations as “sent” to keep track.

For all formats, placing a QR code on paper invitations is recommended so guests can quickly access the online version. A full invitation list can be downloaded in Excel for easier management.

## Guest Responses

When a guest clicks the link, they see all the prepared information: the couple’s names, programme, venue, FAQ, photo album, gift list, and survey.

For the website, guests click “Confirm Attendance,” enter their name and accompanying guests, then respond to the attendance question and additional queries. Individual invitations use unique links but follow the same process. If an invitation is for multiple guests, each selects their name and responds individually.

Guests can opt to receive updates via Telegram, including reminders one week before the wedding. Responses can be edited anytime, and the system updates and notifies you automatically.

Telegram and push notifications allow you to receive instant updates on guest responses.

All responses appear in the “Guest Responses” section for the website or “My Invitations” for individual invitations. The list displays guest name, attendance status (not sent / no response / accepted / declined / maybe), date link opened (to track who viewed but didn’t respond), and response date. Responses for the website can be manually linked to guests or new guests added.

The system synchronises attendance status and other information with guest profiles, providing clear summaries of confirmations, declines, transport and accommodation needs, drink preferences, and more. This helps plan catering, transport, and lodging efficiently and send reminders to those who have not yet responded.
